Striking in form, Cordyline australis ‘Pink Passion” is a vibrant pink foliaged cabbage tree which has a lovely purple-grey centre to its fronds. These glow in the sunshine and will make a dull spot in the garden or pot, beam with colour. They enjoy a nice sunny spot or part shade and as mentioned thrive in pots (as long as they are watered through these dry hot summer months).
Planted in a blue pot they look splendid as the contrast of the two colours is very eye-catching. In time these Cordylines will grow to around 1.8m and planted in a group would look great.
‘Pink Passion’ would also be a good choice for those of you that live near the coast as they will tolerate the sea air
